About the Position:

Operations are the heartbeat of our service - ensuring our partners are levels ahead  than the general market in terms of their quality and speed of work and are good platform participants - as businesses depend on Helpster Partners to drive their productivity 24/7/365. As the Operations Manager, you will report to the Head of Operations to create and implement operational strategies, refine processes, and drive innovation that can lay the blueprint for our potential new market openings. We’re looking for someone who is process-driven, detail-oriented, and organized, but also excited to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. You will manage a team that manages fulfilment and Partner customer service, so aside from being a proven individual contributor you will need to have strong leadership and coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work side by side with the Partner Recruitment Team to ensure that client staffing requests are completed on time.
  • Collaborating with Sales & Account Management Team to define client's requirement & needs. You will meet our larger enterprise clients and your team will provide hands on support for new clients that are launching their first week of work.
  • Balancing attention to detail with swift execution - following through our standard SOP while maintaining quality is key
  • Project managing the flow of Partners to ensure a healthy ratio of utilized workers for each job
  • Problem Solving - we operate a technology platform so all kinds of obstacles, barriers, problems, and snags happen on a daily basis and you must be ready to solve them as fast as they happen
  • Utilisation - develop strategies with the sales team to reduce the time between jobs for our Partners
  • Partner Pool management - be on top of the data, understand where and why we are churning Partners and develop strategies to increase retention. Ultimately you will create a community of Partners that are engaged and perform at the highest standards
  • Process optimization - we not only need to create and constantly optimize our own processes for this market, but for the many more markets that are to follow in the near future
  • Ability to learn new skills and grow with the role. As Helpster continues to expand, this role will be in charge of directing and overseeing additional operational processes and projects as required
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Operations
  • Posses leadership experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Tech startup experience is ideal
  • Experience solving complex problems, exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team
  • Comfortable learning and using new software tools
  • Black belt in data analytics and management
  • Process-driven to the very detail
  • Ability to present factual findings in comprehensive reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
